Pilot then rollout
Several departments · Mixed delivery
From pilot session to multi-course training programme
A publishing organisation used a Learning Pot to trial training, then roll it out across Marketing, Design, Sales and Consumer teams.
The challenge
A major publishing organisation was planning training across several departments, including Marketing, Design, Sales and Consumer teams. Different people needed different skills, and the organisation wanted to test new training before committing to a wider rollout. Managing individual bookings, invoices and course arrangements for every learner would also have created significant administration for the L&D team.
Our approach
A Learning Pot provided a central training budget that could be used across different courses and dates. The programme began with pilot training, so the organisation and trainer could gather feedback and refine the approach before further sessions. Training then ran in the format each team needed — at the client’s office, at our London centre, and live online.
The result
Rather than committing every learner to the same course at the same time, the organisation could develop its programme progressively. Feedback from the pilot helped shape later training, while the central pot made it easier to coordinate a larger programme across multiple teams, subjects and delivery formats.
