"The timings were ideal, with blocks of approx 1hr 15 mins of learning, then a break. Two days felt right. Tasks felt as though they were (where possible) real-world examples. One of the best tasks was being taught how to draw a mug and a tea cup and having the 'finished' example at the top of the page. I think this could be used more across other courses because sometimes as a learner it's hard to know the aim/point of a task when you're being talked through it. Vicky was really good at explaining what we were going to be doing/aiming for before we started each task, which gave it more meaning and it made more sense. Everything felt manageable, even though the second day progressed to more difficult tasks. It was helpful to learn the AI elements within Illustrator as I didn't know they were a feature. The drawing tasks were really helpful. Vicky was so well prepared, keen to help and clearly loves what she does. The additional notes about each day's learning highlighted this and shows she understands how people learn and remember. It was also helpful that she has experience across other Adobe programs (e.g. InDesign, Bridge)."
