On-site · Microsoft Copilot

Making Copilot relevant to real workflows

A private on-site day covering SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel and Power BI. Not a generic Copilot demo.

The challenge

A large organisation wanted to introduce Microsoft Copilot to a team of about ten. A standard introductory course would have been too general. They needed to see how Copilot could help with the work they already do in SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI and other Microsoft tools.

Our approach

We ran a private on-site session built around their work. The trainer used real tasks: finding information in SharePoint, building presentations from existing materials, working with data, and writing better prompts. People could ask about their own workflows and compare notes during the day.

The result

They spent the day on Copilot in the tools they already use, and could see where it would save them time.

One programme, five online groups of six. Thirty people, each with time to practise and get feedback.

The challenge

A large organisation needed presentation and public speaking training for 30 people. They wanted everyone to practise, get feedback and talk to the trainer. One big workshop would have made that hard.

Our approach

We used the same programme across five private groups of six, delivered online. Everyone had time to practise, ask questions and get feedback. The sessions covered structure, delivery and building confidence.

The result

All 30 people completed the same programme in small groups. Splitting it this way also made it easier to fit around work.

Design skills around the client’s own brand

A communications team trained on its own assets and brand, not generic Canva exercises.

The challenge

A communications team of eight wanted more confidence producing day-to-day creative work in Canva. Generic examples would have taught the software, but not how to apply it to their brand.

Our approach

We ran a private session using their examples, brand rules and the kinds of assets they actually make. The day mixed design basics with practical Canva techniques.

The result

They practised on work that looked like theirs, so they could use it straight after the course.

Private Premiere Pro for a creative team

A media team with mixed experience worked through the full Premiere Pro workflow in a private workshop.

The challenge

A media organisation wanted stronger video-editing skills in Adobe Premiere Pro. People were at different levels, so the day needed to cover the core workflow and still leave time to practise and ask about the films they make.

Our approach

We ran private Premiere Pro Introduction as a hands-on workshop: organising footage, editing on the timeline, audio, titles, transitions and export. Because it was private, more time went on the bits that mattered to them. The same course can run across several small groups if numbers are higher.

The result

The team left knowing the full editing workflow and more confident cutting video on their own. Pace and examples followed the group, not a public class.

Smartphone and social video for a non-profit

Filming on a smartphone and editing for social, taught as one private programme.

The challenge

A non-profit wanted to communicate more clearly on social media. They had stories to tell, but not much confidence making video, from filming on a phone through to something they could post. Doing only filming or only editing would have left a hole.

Our approach

We put together a two-day programme: Filming with a Smartphone, then Video Editing for Social Media. Day one covered planning, framing, lighting, sound and shooting for social. Day two was editing: cutting footage, adding text, shaping the piece and getting it ready for different platforms. We built it around their communications work.

The result

They left able to film and edit as one process, and more confident making social video in-house.

Private team training is reserved exclusively for your organisation. Sessions follow our established course content as standard, with the option to tailor the training to your goals, workflows or materials. We can deliver at our London Islington centre, at your premises anywhere in the UK or Europe, or live online.

There is no strict minimum. We train one-to-one through to a full room of eight, or several groups for larger teams. Tell us the headcount and we will work out what is feasible.

Yes. Rooms are sized for groups of up to eight so everyone gets hands-on help. Teams of 20 to 50 or more run as several private sessions, same outline, staggered dates. Choose 21+ on the form and we will plan the groups with you.

As early as you can if you have a fixed date or venue. We also work to tight timelines. Call us and we will say what is free.

A computer for each person with the software installed, and a projector or large screen. We do not supply hardware, software or lunch at client sites.
