I enjoyed the course because Piers managed to keep the other participants and myself engaged in a very nice and without pressure way, which was quite nice and the communication that flowed afterwards was quite natural. That was great and is very appropriate for a course related to communication. The content was appropriate and provided some examples of pieces of reports but also a couple of different techniques on how to structure the reports, which I found useful. The bibliography at the end of the slides will surely be useful to take a look at for further information on how to write a report. A few examples in the slides of how to and hot not to gave us a good example, I hope, of what we can found in the books suggested by Piers. Really enjoyed the course. Thank you, Piers!

The course went at a good pace. It was very useful l to see examples as we went through the course and to also attempt to do our own editing of reports. The section on active/passive voice will be very helpful when report writing - it was good to learn how to change to active. I will also put what I learnt in the line editing: common errors section to good use.
