HTML and CSS Intro Reviews

I really appreciated Simon checking in a lot to see how we were doing, they had a lot of patience and were reassuring if we'd missed or didn't understand something! All of the examples were made relevant to our specific interests and roles. I also really valued understanding a bit of the history/evolution of HTML & CSS coding as well as touching on how certain elements are important for visually impaired users, which is something I hadn't given much thought to prior to this course. Simon was also willing to take the time to expand upon certain elements which I liked as it made the training not feel rigid or monotonous.

Well paced course, Iwan delivered a personal course and ensured that no delegate fell behind. It was interactive with very little passive time - we were learning by coding in real time which was super helpful. It was simple to download the materials and get set up ahead of time.

Simon was friendly and explained everything thoroughly, breaking the sections of the course into bitesize elements which the team responded well to. Simon was patient with the team, tailoring the course to what was most worthwhile to our day to day jobs and re-covered areas which we were struggling with until we were all at the same level which was greatly appreciated. The course was overall really beneficial, covering all key areas of html and css to give us a basic understanding and I would highly recommend this course to other businesses/professionals.

Really easy to book and extremely friendly and knowledgeable trainer and staff. The course really took HTML back to basics (which is exactly what I needed!) Although I had some coding knowledge already, I didn't know a lot of the theory so it was really helpful to start from scratch. I learnt a great deal of information in two days, and taking regular breaks really helped me to digest it all. I hope to put what I've learnt into practice and book onto the advanced course in future. I was also supposed to do a Photoshop course with you, which unfortunately I had to cancel, but now that I've seen how beneficial this type of training has been, I'll definitely be booking onto another.

The ability to easily share the screen with Iwan when things go wrong is what makes online training so great. Really enjoyed the little challenges he gave us during the course, allowing us to think our way through a problem and apply the correct code. This is my third course with you (previously did Photoshop: Introduction and Illustrator: Introduction) and was, once again, not disappointed. Easy to follow but right amount of challenging, class sizes are perfect (you dont feel intimidated asking questions), food is delicious and location and building are great. Iwan directed us to some great resources to use after the course which I will definitely be checking out! Will hopefully be back again soon (if I can persuade my company to keep sending me on these courses!)

HTML and CSS Intro 5 to 6 April 2018 · In Person · Public

Staff were the most helpful I have ever experienced, so smiley, welcoming and chatty. The lunch was amazing and catered for all diets (I am a vegetarian). My teacher, Anna, is clearly very experienced and taught us very well, quickly and efficiently, and helped me on tasks I struggled with. I know that the classes could have been up to 6 people and I was lucky to be in a class of 2 - I think I would have found it more difficult with less of Anna's attention and help as coding is so overwhelming and mentally tiring for beginners and those not familiar with it. But overall a fantastic course in a great location and building.
