Really great day, learnt so much and have left much more confident than I arrived. Would love information on the editing course as interested in doing that too. Location, facilities, equipment and tutor all fabulous. So pleased I attended and am very excited tyo get going
James was a great trainer he was very engaging and informative, used lots of practical examples. I now feel confident we can improve our in house videography on the iphone.
Very patient and took the time to answer all our questions. I really liked how interactive the session and how time was included to complete the interactive parts. I am really thankful for how much I learned and the skills I will be taking away from today.
I really appreciated how approachable and accessible the session was - especially coming to it with minimal experience in filming with a smartphone. The depth and breadth of the content was really helpful and left me feeling inspired so a big thank you.
The course was very helpful in both affirming and widening my knowledge of filming with a smartphone! Matt was engaging and was great with answering questions.
Adapting the course to our specific needs. I.e. using filming techniques and examples relevant to our sector and showing specific tips and tricks depending on our own setup and circumstance.
Really friendly and approachable. Explained the subject area really well and really helped us to learn. Matt was really knowledgeable and allowed us to ask lots of questions
Matt was very knowledgeable and great at explaining. He was very quick to answer any questions, even if they weren't completely on topic, he was happy to help. A great teacher!
Matt was really knowledgeable and good at explaining everything in simple terms. I really enjoyed learning all about the lighting components and have learnt a lot from this course which I'm looking forward to actioning!
The instructor was very inspiring and realistic, and did not get bogged down in technical elements or tell us to buy loads of kit etc. Instead, he focussed on storytelling, and how to make dynamic films with limited capacity.
Great environment and lunch from the centre. Trainer (Matt) was great and very engaging; understood our individual requirements and tailored to it where he could.
Really responsive. Practical course. Made me think differently about filming and the process and expanding storytelling. Matt really approachable and professional background was really good.
Super knowledgable, the course was laid-back but really informative, I loved how hands-on it was and leaving feeling like I've learnt new skills I can put into practice immediately - thank you!
Matt was great! Very knowledgeable, very passionate and easy to listen to. The course was engaging, we had time to use equipment and really get involved. I'd definitely recommend to anyone interested
The balance of theory vs practical was really useful and it was great to mix it up by splitting the day up into theory - practical - theory. The knowledge and the in-depth technical info was really useful as this is what separates someone from being able to film on a smartphone vs being able to film great content on a smartphone!
Everytime an example was given, Tom was able to use his knowledge to explain the answer to us in a way that we would understand with the work we create being the centre of the answer. It made things much much easier to understand.
Very thorough and answered all questions well. Matt did extra research as well if he was unsure about anything. The centre was very clean and the lunch was lovely.
Matt was very knowledgeable and friendly. If there was a question he didn't know the answer to he went the extra mile to research it and make sure we found out. Will definitely recommend him and more courses to my colleagues at Bidfood. Learnt lots!
Matt is very knowledgeable, clear and concise. He is also very good at keeping you engaged and feeling as though you're not overwhelmed by all the info. Would definitely recommend.
The course provided a great mix of 1 to 1, and group learning. The group size was perfect. The food and drink on offer was great, and Nicole is a great teacher!
Lovely knowledgeable staff and good resources and equipment. The course was a good mix of theory and practical work and I came away with a much fuller understanding of what I can do with my phone's camera. Lunch was tasty and the facilities were clean. I would recommend this course and would try some of the others you have available.
Tom was super knowledgable and helpful in his session. He gave so much advice and tips that I will definitely take with me to ITV. He was super kind too - thanks Tom!
The examples given were great and relevant to us. Our trainer was super helpful and made the whole learning experience really enjoyable and was always quick to answer any questions we had.
A great course, everything was well explained, the slides and leader were insightful and the activities were helpful to have practical experience - would highly recommend!
A very accessible and relevant introduction to filming with a smartphone. Also a lot of fun creating videos throughout the course using the techniques learned. Highly recommended.
Jason was great - targeted the learning at the right level for us. It was detailed but kept simple, and he used a lot of real life examples that helped.
Everything, a really great day. The booking was very smooth, greetings and catering very good and James was excellent covering a wealth of material as well as some really useful hints and tips. Many thanks
